The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test
Your result for The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test...
Modern, Cool Nerd
70 % Nerd, 57% Geek, 43% Dork
For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd.
Nerds didn't use to be cool, but in the 90's that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn't quite fit in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eked out for themselves a modicum of respect at the very least, and "geek is chic." The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)!
Congratulations!
Thanks Again! -

Bah Humbug
Important breaking news flash...
I am not a Christian. I do not celebrate Christmas. Please stop asking me what I am doing for Christmas. I am doing nothing for Christmas. If you are wondering what I am doing a week from today, feel free to ask. It's a Tuesday. I'm not working. Maybe I'll sleep in, read a book, walk the dogs... Perhaps I'll even get myself some Chinese food.
I think that come spring I'll start asking everyone what they're doing for Pesach. Then I'll fuss over them and invite them to my house to celebrate. Wait, what do you mean you're going to stay home...you can't be alone on Passover!

Mystery Stole 3
That's right, I've embarked on my very first knit-a-long. It's Mystery Stole 3, also my first big lace project, not to mention another first, beads! Here are the details:
Yarn: Jaggerspun Zephyr in White (an exceptional bargain here in BK at Sarah's Yarns)
Needles: Size 4 bamboo circulars
Beads: Matsuno color #343 (I'd call it vanilla cream), size 8/0
Above is the center detail from Clue 2. It was tough g0ing at first, but I've got a lifeline in at row 100, and since then the frogging has been kept at a max of 5 rows or so.
For those of you who have not kept up, all activity this summer was slowed up by the weeklong vacation I took at the beginning of July at the fabulous Maimondides Medical Center Resort right here in sunny, humid, sweltering Brooklyn!
I'm starting to get back into the swing of things so keep tuned in.
